DJ Max Portable: Hot Tunes is an upcoming music game for the PlayStation Portable published and developed by Pentavision in South Korea, and is a compilation edition of the DJ Max Portable game series to be exclusively released in Japan, the first DJ Max game to be formally released there.The game will feature content from both DJ Max Portable and DJ Max Portable 2.
The game is intended to be beginner-friendly; Pentavision states that players who have never played the DJ Max series would find it easy to play.
The game has also been specifically localized for a Japanese audience, meaning that extra precaution has been taken in avoiding translation errors. Currently only a UMD distribution for the game has been announced.
