The game was announced during E3 2009, when a trailer was released to media. The trailer shows a futuristic sword-wielding character battling giant robots and creatures as well as third-person exploration gameplay. In January 2010, the game was renamed to Xenoblade from 'Monado: Beginning of the World' to honor Tetsuya Takahashi, "who poured his soul into making this and who has been working on the Xeno series". The game is set for a June 10, 2010 release date in Japan, with no official release date for anywhere else yet.

Features
  • It has been stated that the game will convey the feeling of freedom to the player, and won't be as focused on cutscenes and story as its sibling games.
  • Xenoblade will have an action based battle system where normal attacks will happen automatically at intervals, similar to the set up in Final Fantasy XII. However, special attacks are controlled separately from that interval through a "battle palette" on the bottom of the screen Xenoblade will also have the "Visions" system, where the player can see glimpses of the future, and try to react or prevent it from happenening.
  • The game is known to have a number of features labeled as "Time Saving Support Features". For instance, while the game will have a day and night time cycle, players can "wind the clock" to the time they want to go to, rather than just letting time elapse. Additionally, while the game is about exploration, many warp points will be added to aid in traversing the land. The game will also sport a "save anywhere" feature, a feature relatively rare among the console JRPG genre.
  • Another of the game's systems is the "bonds system", in which characters can partake in many optional sidequests with non-player characters. Completing such quests can alter perception of the character in the towns, and open up additional story sequences.
  • The game will also have extensive customization, such as being able to change the character's outfits, and having those changes be seen in battle, field, and even event scenes.

Bleach: Versus Crusade for the Wii was released in Japan on December 18, 2008. Scans depict a roster of characters in line with the manga storyline, featuring Neliel, Nnoitra, Ichigo with his hollow mask and Grimmjow's released form to name but a few. The gameplay appears to have been changed substantially, showing a split-screen during multi-player fights. It is a one-on-one fighter, but players pick a partner character for various team-up attacks and other maneuvers as well as being able to switch between them. It supports online play via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and can be played with the Classic Controller or GameCube controller in place of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk.

Features
  • Unlike other installments, it was developed by Treasure Co. Ltd. Visitors to the official website were allowed to vote for which two characters they wanted on the cover of the game; the winning pair was Ichigo and Rukia. The amount of time for the bankais and specials have all been extended.
  • The game has 25 playable characters, less than the game before it. Athough most of the Espada are playable characters, only Espada 4-10 are playable. Stark, Barragan Luisenbarn, and Halibel are not, but Ulquiorra Cifer, Nnoitra Jiruga, Grimmjow Jeagerjaques, Zommari Lerouz, Szayel Aporro Granz, Aaroniero Arruruerie, and Yammy Riyalgo are.
