Release Date: 10/01/2009
We've seen PS3 and PS2 games shrunk down to the PSP before. But here's a new one. Famitsu has revealed that Koei will be bringing Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce to the PS3 and Xbox 360 for Japanese release later this Fall.
- Known as Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid in its native Japan, Strikeforce offered a new take on the Dynasty Warriors franchise, teaming players up in groups for cooperative quests. In Japan, the game continues to see free weekly quest downloads.
- The PS3 and 360 version will be known in Japan as Shin Sangoku Musou Multi Raid Special. The game features a number of improvements over the PSP version. Obviously, the visuals are being brought up to console standards. Other changes include a new system where the CPU controls your three ally generals.
- The biggest change, however, could be in the game's online play support. The PSP version offered support for local play. On PS3 and Xbox 360, the game is fully online, allowing for four players to play cooperatively and competitively. Koei is even including support for text and voice chat.
