Pre-Order Update - Hori Suggoi! Arcana Heart 2 Arcade Pro Stick - Open - HP2-263

Arcana Heart 2 is releasing fairly soon, with production from AQ Interactive. Added fighters include Nazuna Inuwaka, Akane Inuwaka, Parace L'Sia. Added Arcana include Cayatshime (Flower), Fenecs (Sound), Parace L'sia (Life). Hori has partnered up with Arcana heart and is producing a limited edition arcana heart 2 arcade stick.

At first look, the arcade pro stick is similar to its former styles, with official sanwa lollipop style joystick (JLF-TP-8Y-SK) and a 1.8 meter cord. The controller itself weighs 2600g, approximately 2.6KG or 6lbs, giving you an extremely sturdy base during extreme game play. The box will be fairly large, increasing shipping costs slightly. Pricing is set at $249.99 because we will be airing the very first batches to make it in time for the game release.

Stock Update - Surprising Restock 3/4/09 - Madcatz 360 Street Fighter 4 Controllers

Surprisingly, we just received another shipment of madcatz 360 street fighter 4 fight pads. Among the most popular yesterday were Chun-Li, which sold surprisingly better than runner-up Ryu. Ken's sells were mediocre, barely trumping blanka.

This seems like the last of it, with no word of any restock for any fightpads down the line, if you do decide to grab one, you may be able to hold it and sell it for double the price in the years to come, we'll never know.

Stock Update - 360 Street Fighter IV Collectors Back In Stock Thursday 3/5

As if the shortage of the madcatz fightpads wasn't bad enough, we breathed a sigh of relief in knowing that at least one item in the street fighter archives is finally available again, without any sort of extreme markup two or even three times beyond market price.

Stock Update - 360 SF4 Fightpads, Sold out Restock Soon

We're officially sold out of the street fighter IV 360 fightpads! We hopefully will be receiving more from local vendors on Friday. We're unsure of prices at this point, but if the local vendors decide to sell at high costs due to the scarcity of the item, we will adjust accordingly.

Madcatz has stated that the second wave of controllers is still satisfying the first wave, and the third wave of controllers is coming in end of april / early may. Many vendors probably are sitting tight on stock in hopes of marking them up to tournament edition prices.

Stock Update - Akuma Street Fighter 4 Fightpads

Sorry folks, we received no 360 akuma's in this shipment. Akuma is so rare that even amazon doesn't have them. Each of the 4-set randomized boxes comes with generally one per character, but every so often, if lucky, we'll receive one akuma to every thousand fightpads

Some good news! Madcatz may be releasing a small batch of their 360 Street Fighter IV 4 fight pads to us tomorrow! Unfortunately, we will not be receiving any akumas, just the basic styles - Ken, Ryu, Chun-Li, and Blanka. Pricing is still not set just yet and will be adjusted as soon as a shipment from madcatz is confirmed.

Confirmed Arrival - Madcatz PS3 Joypads

It has finally arrived! We were anxiously arriving a large white freight forwarding truck pull up to the back of our dock.

We received small all allocations of all 4 styles - Blanka, Chun-Li, Ryu, and Ken.

Because supply is scarce, we had to source these controllers locally at higher than normal pricing, and the price for all four controllers have been priced at $69.99 each. We're currently testing the lag factor of the ps2 nubytech controllers as well as the MAS fighting joysticks. Full reports are expected within a few hours.

Stock Update - PS3 Street Fighter IV 4 Fightpads

We received some good news! We may receive a small wave of ps3 street fighter IV fightpads tomorrow, with 360 street fighter 4 pads arriving the following week. So far, we're not putting them in stock, we don't want to get our hopes up, along with the hopes of our loyal customers, so we're waiting until it actually arrives.

If the controllers do in fact arrive, we will be updating our stock status immediately. Customers are encouraged to sign up for "email me when the item is back in stock" notifications. Quantities are extremely allocated and items will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

I also have spoken to madcatz. Second wave allocations are still filling first wave pre-orders. A 3rd wave will be released end of april early may. We estimate that demand will insta-die down at that time, and major surpluses of the sticks will surface. We have sticks on order, but will adjust our quantities accordingly.

Custom Street Fighter Joy Sticks - Stock/Order Update

Japan Video Games has teamed up once again with super joystick magnate MAS to create custom joysticks for street fighter IV and other fighting games. First samples have arrived today for extensive testing. Results will be posted tomorrow. We have also heard rumors that madcatz may be releasing a batch of joysticks and fightpads within the week, we will keep you posted on any updates.

Here are some specs of the custom made joysticks:

Stock Update - Fighting Stick 3 PS3

I'd have to say, the amount of sticks selling the past few days has been quite ridiculous. Honestly, we can't even keep up with demand. I wouldn't be surprised if street fighter IV would be more effective than the stimulus signed by President Obama.

After reaching out to our suppliers the past few days, all remaining reserves of any controller resembling a fighting stick have been snatched by retailers and wholesalers alike. Luckily, we were able to lock down small quantities of the ps3 fighting stick 3. Initial quantities will arrive on friday, but the remainder of the shipment will arrive early next monday.

For those wondering about the quality and sales stats of the other sticks, I would highly recommend the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX for 360, and the Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 For PS3. We've already had a few returns from customers who prefer hori over madcatz. The madcatz sticks have received generous hype, but Hori still trumps in quality and durability.

Customers were primarily concerned with the madcatz sticks sticky lollipop joystick. I don't like creating a false sense of urgency, but I do strongly encourage all buyers to purchase any stick as soon as possible to avoid any unreasonable price hikes into the $300's.

As much as we have tried, street fighter IV PS3/360 versions will still be arriving on Wednesday (2/18). We expect to receive them via trucking company late in the afternoon. UPS and Fedex will arrive earlier, but will not be carrying any shipments of this title.

The american release date is subsequently too close to the import version, thus less imported versions were imported, though both are region free. The yen is looking better today, but with the retail price of street fighter IV set at 8390 JPY, only small shipments were imported. Early allocations of all japanese versions have already been sold, we are only taking special orders for imported versions.

Feel free to stop by any time late in the afternoon to pick up a copy of street fighter IV. We encourage phone calls on tuesday/wednesday to reserve your copy 24 hours in advance.
