Afrika, known as Hakuna Matata in Asia, is a photography and safari simulation video game for the PlayStation 3. Developed by Rhino Studios, the game was first announced in a promotional video during the Sony press conference at E3 2006. Afrika has been referred to as a spiritual successor to the Nintendo 64 title Pokemon Snap.[4][5] On November 19, 2008 it was announced that the former Asian territory ‘exclusive’ is going to be released in North America (and presumably Europe). The game is being published by National Geographic and will be renamed ‘National Geographic: Africa’.[6]

A Chinese/English edition was released 11/12/08, similar to the Aquanauts edition, the game has the option of letting you choose basic Chinese or English language for gameplay. It was titled as Hakuna Matata.

Reception for Afrika has generally been positive. Famitsu scored the game 29/40, while Dengeki PlayStation scored the game 70/85/90/90 (All out of 100).
