Muramasa: The Demon Blade, known in Japan as Oboro Muramasa is an upcoming video game developed by Vanillaware exclusively for the Wii console. It will be published by Marvelous Entertainment and is an action RPG. Unlike Vanillaware's previous titles, the game takes its roots from historical Japan.
Graphically the game is similar to Odin Sphere, retaining the same hand-drawn 2D art style, though inspiration will this time be drawn from Japanese mythology and culture rather than Norse mythology.The game will have over 30 different type of stages.
he game can be played in two modes: Musō (無双, literally "warrior") Mode and Shura (修羅, literally "carnage") Mode. Musō Mode focuses on character leveling as opposed to action, whereas Shura Mode is more action based.
