With retailers nationwide scrambling for the DSi american launch, supply is cut short and price is driven much above retail values, for those who don't line up and pre-order immediately, prices will be sure to drive north toward the upper 100's range during the first few weeks of release.Even distributors are selling for much beyond retail, signaling that second hand and third hand retailers are going to pay well above retail. Most likely this will only happen within the first week or so. Once demand is satisfied, we are sure to see prices finally inch toward retail. Pre-orders for the Matte Blue are open today and are priced at $189.99 and will ship on or around 4/5, well above retail, unfortunately, but we do expect prices to drop as additional supplies surface within a few weeks.
