Marvelous Entertainment, creators of the "Katekyoo Hitman Reborn!" saga, are scheduled to release two new titles onto the ps2 and psp consoles. Katekyoo Hitman Reborn Nerae (ps2) features a more adventure based format. Players act as cat, who can only transform into a human being for seven days, soon, you have to join a Reborn family and accept training from a series of characters. Players will engage in a music-pairing style play (you would have to match up the screen signs with your ps2 controller symbols) during music portions. During the "conversation mode", players will need to select the correct sentences to level up a friend.Opposite to its ps2 brother, Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! Battle Area PSP will be a full-fledged 3D fighting title. The storyline will be completely new and original. Players can dress their characters with outfits and accessories to create hundreds if not thousands of unique looks. The game will also allow up to 4 players to play together using connect battle.
