In the Higurashi games, there are several story arcs, the original eight of which are referred to as either question arcs or answer arcs. The answer arcs generally recapitulate the events of the corresponding question arc, but from a different perspective, using the change of protagonist to solve various mysteries and come to a different conclusion. Each of the eight original games for the PC represented separate arcs of the overall storyline. Apart from the main question/answer relationship, the stories of the arcs are not directly connected, although a multitude of parallels exist which allow the observant reader to gain extra insight into the mystery.

The Higurashi no Naku Koro ni games form what are referred to as the question arcs. These first four games of the series were meant to give the player a sense of the world where the story takes place and introduce the mysterious circumstances surrounding the village of Hinamizawa. Since there are no concrete answers given to the questions that the story presents in these arcs, the question arcs allow the player to form his or her own opinions about the events taking place in Hinamizawa. Each question arc game contains all of the previous question arcs.

Heavy Rain is an upcoming PlayStation 3 video game being developed by French studio, Quantic Dream. The game is being directed by Quantic Dream's founder and CEO David Cage, who also wrote and directed the studio's two previous games, Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Fahrenheit. The game is scheduled to be released on February 18, 2010.David Cage has confirmed a demo, but the Quantic Dream team is still choosing what "Scene" of the game shall be used for the demo.

Features
  • Features

  • According to a demonstration given to Edge magazine, the game will use a unique control scheme.
  • A trigger button on the PlayStation 3 controller will move the character forward. It will take advantage of the button's analogue function, allowing the user to control the speed of the character's movement by pressing harder or softer on the button.
  • The left analogue stick will control the movement of the character's head and the direction the character moves in relation to where the character is looking. David Cage explains that this frees the movement of the character from the perspective of the camera.
  • The rest of the game is played using a series of context sensitive actions such as picking up a bottle in a grocery store and hitting a robber on the head with it, and quick time events, normally for chase and combat sequences.
  • Players are able to bring up a selection of their character's current thoughts by holding the L1 button and pressing corresponding buttons to say or do what they're thinking.
  • These thoughts will sometimes blur, and selecting them at the wrong time will affect the character's reaction, causing them to say or do something in the wrong way.
  • Action sequences, such as when the player is being attacked, play out as quick time events. Players will be presented with various symbols, requiring them to either press buttons, move the right analogue stick in a certain way, or shake or tilt the controller.
  • Failure to execute these commands take the story along a different path, and certain mistakes will lead to a character's death. For example, in one scene,
  • Norman Jayden is interrogating a suspect named Mad Jack when he starts to suffer from withdrawal symptoms and button prompts will show up. If he fails to take his drugs, he will be taken to a scenario in which he will have to escape from a car before it is thrown into a crusher, killing him.
  • In scenes like these, a 'timer' scene is shown at the bottom of the screen, indicating how long the player has to escape from his predicament.
  • If a character dies, the game does not end, and play control switches to another character, with the events of the previous character's death affecting the story.
  • In the event that all four characters die, there is a proper conclusion to the story and the game ends.

Now you can just shoot the Bully up or fly behind it and shoot at it from there. The hitzone on its back is weaker and gives you more score to gain. To do this is pretty dangerous, but if you risk it you can get your reward.
  • While hyper soaking, enemy bullets are harmless to you, so you can also use this feature as a bullet shield when playing for survival instead scoring. But be warned, enemies themselves and their lasers can still defeat you.
  • To activate Hyper Soaking just press R, then your soaking bar decreases to the minimum while soaking up bullets - mind, the more bullets you soak the longer the hyper soaking stays active. Furthermore, you can collect Soak Up items to increase your soak bar.
  • The power pod in front of the ship is able to soak up enemy bullets when blocking them directly and when Hyper Soaking is active, bullets even accalerate to fly to your pod like it was magnetic. You can use this feature to let bullets - which aren't very reachable and/or more on screen then you can handle at a time - heading to your pod to gain more score.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, known in Japan as Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter, is a PlayStation 2 game released in 2003. It is the fifth RPG in the Breath of Fire series.

Features
  • The Breath of Fire team at Capcom has said that Dragon Quarter is based in a world separate from the other installments.
  • Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter is notable for its deviation from the typical style of previous Breath of Fire games.
  • The first four games in the series were very traditional RPGs; Dragon Quarter includes several inventive features that distinguish it from its predecessors as well as other games in the genre.
  • One of these features is the Scenario Overlay (SOL) system. This system encourages the player to return to previous points in the game, restart the game, and/or replay the game in order to unlock hidden areas, view additional story scenes, and make the characters more powerful so that the player can deal with the game's considerable difficulty level. Unlocked scenes from this system will have the letters "SOL" on the bottom right to indicate that the event is a SOL unlocked event.

Pichu, known as the "Tiny Mouse" species of Pokémon, are the pre-evolved version of Pikachu. They stand at 1'00" and weight 4.4 lbs. Their cheeks are pink, and they have small, plump bodies with short, jagged tails, and large ears. They are not skilled at storing electricity, so when amused or startled, they often discharge jolts of electricity strong enough to affect adult humans.

This lack of control becomes more stable as they grow older. The electricity that they do manage to keep stored is limited by their small electrical pouches in their cheeks. When the air is dry or on stormy days, they charge much more easily, leaving the sound of crackling static electricity emanating from them.

They play with each other by touching tails to set off sparks, which also acts as a test of courage. They run the risk of shorting each other out, and scaring themselves into a crying fit with the flash of sparks that emanates from them. In the anime, it is said that a Pichu cannot use electric attacks without hurting itself. This is a feature not prominently featured in the games.
